Upgraded system UIS-48S with automatic infrared aiming was tested and certified. In May, 2010, international certification tests of automatic system UIS-48S were executed with excellent results. The tests were executed on a high-tech training test area PMS in city Paulinia, state Sao Paolo, Brazil, for a committee consisting of more than fifty experts of fire and technological safety of Brazil.

In order to receive impartial tests results, were used methods of choice of arbitrary seats of fire at a different volume and composition of combustion agent, from 2000 liters of natural liquid gas to mixture of ethanol with diesel fuel, look the series of photos here.
The tests were complicated by different weather conditions with unpredictable changes of wind speed and direction. During the tests were used 4 tons of fire-powder, approximately 10 tons of liquid natural gas, ethanol, gasoline and diesel fuel.

The quantity of extinguishing twenty times exceeded the calculated resources of systems maintenance, and this confirmed the highest degree of reliability and quality of production. Extinguishing of the pool, filled with natural liquid gas, was executed at different weather conditions and volume of liquid gas five times and each time the extinguishing was on 100% without any deflection of aiming axis. The maximum inaccuracy of the newest systems of automatic aiming with the use of thermal-imagers and our own software was 1 (one) millimeter. IMPORTANT: From 2010 systems UIS-48S use fully functional thermal-imagers produced by company InfraTec, Germany, which is our partner in the sphere of development of newest and highly effective systems of fire and technological safety.

InfraTec thermal-imagers being a part of system UIS-48S under control of personal software of company New Impulse Technologies allow completely control the technological condition of the object and define the places of possible breakdown long before the initiation of emergency situation.

Definition of the seats of fire, aiming of the extinguishing systems and the extinguishing are executed automatically within 5 – 10 seconds from the moment of inflammation, and this is clearly visible on the video here.

Visit of the New Impulse Technologies delegation and delegation of the Ministry of emergency situation of Russia to Brazil.
In the period from February, 25th to March, 6th state visit of the delegation of the Ministry of emergency situation of Russia to Brazil was organized by the company New Impulse Technologies.
During the visit following meeting were executed:
1. State Mato Grosso, capital Cuiabá. Meeting in the government of the state with the military secretary of the state Colonel PM Alexander Torres Maia, the meeting was carried out with the participation of high representatives of the Brazilian Indians, photo here. Also were meeting with the firemen of the state, photo here and the pilots of the patrol planes of the state, photo here. On the meeting were discussed questions on monitoring and extinguishing of forest fires of the state, including the territories of habitation of the Indians with the help of Russian fire extinguishing planes IL-76.

2. State Tocantis, capital Palmas. Meeting in the government of the state Tocantis with the state governor, Mr. Carlos Henrique Gaguim, the official press release look here. On the meeting were discussed questions on fire extinguishing using planes IL-76, and also organizational question on creation of International rescue center in the state with the participation of the Government of Brazil and the state and also of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia.

3. Capital of Brazil, city Brasilia.
Meeting with the Chief of the Aereal Service Division of the National Response Task Force, in the meeting participated the pilots of the patrol and fire planes of Brazil. On the meeting were discussed questions on the use of Russian fire planes and helicopters on the territory of whole Brazil and questions on organization and creation of the International rescue center.
The visit received high assessments from behalf of the government of Brazil and from behalf of the MES Russia. During the visit the participating sides entrusted the company New Impulse Technologies to create a system of the local monitoring of forest fires with the help of special thermal-imagers, installed on planes. For execution of the assignment was created an international work group, consisting of scientists of Ukraine, Brazil and Germany.

 

December 10, 2009

On December 1st, 2009, on special order of company Petrobras, company “New Impulse Technologies” had extinguished pool with burning liquid natural gas. The extinguishing had been made with the use of technology Impulse Storm by means of two stationary installations UIS-48S. The extinguishing had taken place on a specially prepared test field PMS, city Paulinia, state San Paolo, Brazil, volume of liquid gas – 1000 liters. The depth of the pool is 1.5 meters. The extinguishing had been conducted within 3 seconds, the burning process was terminated, iterative ignition did not happen, unburned gas remained in the pool. On the photo look the pool preparation, process of gas pouring, and the same pool after extinguishing, it is clearly visible on the photo the gas rests in the pool, confirming 100 % of extinguishing. This experiment has been made for the first time in the world, without preliminary preparation and without preliminary training. On the extinguishing had been present the commission of company Petrobras which has confirmed high efficiency and uniqueness of technology Impulse Storm. Any other technics all over the world is incapable to execute extinguishing of burning liquid natural gas. An impulse fire extinguishing system was tested on Pelyatka gas-condensate field. A trial shot of powder charges was made 900 m away of the temporary housing complex, near a camp of the Open Joint-Stock Company “Norilskgasprom”, to the side of a square with drilling equipment. The impulse equipment can shoot up to 10 charges at the same time. The effective range of extinguishing reaches 100 m. The most important advantage of the impulse fire extinguishing system lies in the fact that delivery of a big volume of a powder mixture to the ignition center is made within a split second allowing liquidating fire of any class quickly. At frost of 35 degrees the equipment worked without failure and the tests were held in working conditions representing a quite spectacular event. A public presentation of the newest fire extinguishing technology "Double Storm" took place.
The technology was tested using European hand-held very-small fire extinguishers specially sent from Belgium and standard Russian fire extinguishers. The professional testers of the state certification laboratory of the All-Russian scientific and research institute for fire defense were shocked by the new capability of standard fire extinguishers of extinguishing a fire within the first one or two seconds. The attached video, please see HERE, clearly shows how the tester keeps mechanically extinguishing the fire, which already no longer exists.
A particular effect was demonstrated on the reference European samples of the very-small fire extinguishers, which after charging with just 210 grams of the "Double Storm" composition by their effectiveness became equal to standard two or three kilogram fire extinguishers, please see a photo HERE: photo1 | photo2 | photo3 | photo4.

By a request of companies from three EU countries a novel technology of gas-and-powder fire extinguishing has been created. The technology fully combines all possibilities of the fire extinguisher using neutral gas and the fire extinguisher using powder. The transport means for neutral gas serves a quartz micro capsule filled with gas, which is destroyed when approaching the fire center and creates a gas-and-powder active cloud liquidating fire immediately. After extinguishing the premises remains chemically clean, the components used are absolutely neutral, and they do not react with other chemicals. Sanitary and ecology safety are absolutely guaranteed. The present technology has never existed anywhere in the world. All rights belong to the owners of New Impulse Technologies.
At present, several samples of special fire extinguishers have been sent from the EU countries to Russia for conducting tests of the European fire extinguishers with the new fire extinguishing technology being part of the Impulse Storm technology series.

An ideology was developed and first samples were created of a distributed system for visual detecting of gas leakage, evaluation of gas quantity and ways of a gas cloud movement in real time in the conditions of an industrial enterprise or an off-shore sea gas producing platform. The system differs from the only analogue in the world by the fact that it is capable of not only detecting a gas leakage and determining its quantity, but also of tracing in real time the movement of a gas cloud or a gas tail area. This property makes the system unique. If necessary, visualization is performed on a plasma panel in color form with the reflection of the gas streams on a standard video.

In cooperation with representatives of Wartsila, Finland, a system for monitoring, signaling and special aerosol fire extinguishing for diesel and gas electric power stations has been created and successfully tested.
The system has obtained the name “Impulse Aerosol”.
Monitoring and signaling is performed by a network of infrared sensors.
Fire extinguishing is performed by a special aerosol generator, in which THERE IS NO COOLING, as aerosol is generated in a cold state already. This unique property has allowed to increase the generator’s reliability many times, what in its turn has increased the warranty period up to 25 years, and it is first time in the world practice the warranty conditions includes a clause of free of charge replacement of generators in case of false actuation.
Two big enterprises of the Russian fuel and energy complex have included assembling of this system in their budgets for 2008 and 2009. The “Impulse Aerosol” system was classified as the best replacement of the outdated gas fire extinguishing system for diesel and gas electric power stations. A new special fire extinguishing powder ISP has been created and tested many times. The powder is a one-component, mineral one, it is not a product of chemical production. The chemical elements the powder consists of are part of chlorophyll. The ISP powder is the only fire extinguishing powder in the world, which is absolutely safe for a man, animals and environment. By means of the new powder it is possible, without limitation of concentration and quantity, to extinguish easily fires in sea and river defined areas of water, in reserved zones, in the forest and in places of compact habitation of people. A danger of ecological pollution is impossible. The powder has all required sanitary and ecological certificates of corresponding laboratories of the USA, Europe, and Russia. The powder’s fire extinguishing characteristics are completely analogous to standard characteristics of any fire extinguishing powder produced in EU countries. A new Impulse Aerosol technology has been created and tested. The technology includes a system for immediate fire detection and immediate launching of executive devices with cold aerosol generators. In-house aerosol generators without special cooling nozzles with an in-house chemical cooling system are used.
A new Aerosol Storm technology has been created and tested. The system uses impulse spraying devices and a new fire prevention powder ISP, as a gas generator the Impulse Aerosol aerosol generators are used.

Two full systems UIS-48S are delivered in the port of Vitoria , Brazil and now are prepared for installation on objects of the oil company Petrobras

On October 20, 2005 in the city of Krasnoyarsk (the Russian Federation, Siberia) successful factory tests of the new stationary impulse system UIS-48S took place.
The system was constructed for the Brazilian national oil company Petrobras.
The following persons were present at the tests:
1. Official delegation from Brazil.
2. Top managers of fire departments of Russia.
3. Numerous representatives of mass media, including seven television channels of Russia.
The tests were estimated as perfect.
